Until now, Singapore has been the only Asian country to have launched DMB last year. It is expected that DMB will be introduced to Hong Kong the coming summer. Cash would implement DMB technology to deliver real-time financial information to its clients.

“With the Internet revolution in full swing, we anticipate that there will be an increasing demand from our clients for real time global forex transactions through Cash,” said the chairman of Cash, Bankee Kwan. Recently, Cash also announced partnership with Singapore multimedia applications developer Plexus Multimedia ( http://www.plexus.com.sg ) and King Pacific International Holdings to develop Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) technology. Cash will invest HK$100 million in the DMB project by acquiring 24 per cent shares of King Pacific and provide advisory service for the project.
