Spain's SEPI's long-term foreign local currency affirmed at 'AAA' - Fitch - Forbes.com
MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the ratings of Spain’s Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) at long-term foreign and local currency ‘AAA’ and short-term foreign currency ‘F1+’ and added the outlooks on the long-term ratings are Stable. The ratings agency also affirmed the long-term ‘AAA’ rating on Spanish state holding company SEPI’s state-guaranteed debt.

US GDP: Lower than expected
US GDP 0.6 for the quarter. This is lower than expected. Economy grew at 2.2% in 2007. Personal Consumption 2.0% versus 2.6%. Consumption is 2/3 of GDP. This release will carry more weight by the Fed than the ADP report.
